HGK SMTP Plug-In Installed For Email
Tested a number of SMPT plug-ins to get the email working and ended up using the HGK SMTP plug-in. ( It reconfigures wp_mail() function to use SMTP instead of mail() ) It is very easy to setup. Download, unzip and SFTP to the /private/var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/ folder. Download link is under Links
